Meet Dr. Martin Hodgson, a true Sonoma Valley native with a passion for health and wellness that's deeply rooted in his hometown. Dr. Hodgson's educational journey took him to California State University, Sacramento, where he initially pursued a degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Therapeutic Exercise & Rehabilitation. While he initially contemplated a career in physical therapy, his love for chiropractic care pushed him to dive into the profession.
Dr. Krystalyn Lowery is our women's health specialist at Peak Performance & Posture.
You'll see her flitting around the office for chiropractic care half of the time, and find her on telehealth consults the other half! Via virtual consults she helps women all over the Sonoma Valley & the North Bay navigate their motherhood journey with her functional medicine training. She specializes in women's wellness and reproductive endocrinology.
Her journey began at the University of Minnesota, where working in a genetics & pediatric cancer research lab sparked a passion for understanding and preventing health issues rather than just treating symptoms. Dr. Lowery now focuses on empowering women to make informed healthcare decisions based on evidence and personal goals, bringing a unique perspective to patient care. She's excited to help women discover the benefits of Chiropractic BioPhysics specific care during all phases of their lives!
Dr. Hodgson's introduction to chiropractic care took place right here in Sonoma! He received his first chiropractic adjustment when he was just a few weeks old. According to his mother, chiropractic care was one of his earliest career dreams, even at a time when most young boys dream of becoming athletes, firefighters, or police officers.
Throughout his youth, Dr. Hodgson was a dedicated tennis and soccer player. But on December 25th when he was 14 years old, Dr. Hodgson broke his right leg. This devastating setback prompted him to embark on a rehabilitation journey. During this period, he discovered his deep-seated passion for helping others recover and achieve their wellness goals.
Dr. Hodgson's personal experiences and his lifelong connection to Sonoma have come together to shape the foundation of Peak Performance & Posture. With a commitment to his community and a deep-rooted passion for chiropractic care, he's now dedicated to helping others find their path to better health and well-being at Peak Performance & Posture.
